Established over 40 years ago, University Foot & Ankle Center, Inc. has grown to be a leader in comprehensive Podiatric Medical and Surgical care.
Doctors at University Foot & Ankle Center, Inc. expertly treat pediatric, adolescent, and adult foot pathology. They also sub-specialize within their group in evaluation and management of sports medicine, diabetic, neurologic, orthopaedic, dermatologic, vascular and wound care of the foot.
The Doctors at University Foot & Ankle Center are Board Certified Foot Surgeons by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery and are Fellows of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Several hold academic appointments at Brown Alpert Medical School and Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. They all are members of the Teaching Staff of the Roger Williams Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency Program. They also enjoy privileges at Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, Roger Williams Medical Center, and Southern New England Surgery Center.

Doctor and Staff second to none!
Dr. Thomas Huott and his staff is second to NONE! We go to the Wampanoag trail office in East Providence. My son had a very complicated tumor on his foot and we were so blessed to have had Dr. Huott as our Dr. He is the only one who could have preformed that type of surgery He is THE BEST and most SKILLED. PLUS he and his staff, truly care for each on of their patient’s, they treat you like family and are truly invested in each and every person that comes into the office. Don’t every go anywhere else!!

Thorough and caring
Dr Thomas Huott was very thorough and caring. He sent me for all the diagnostic testing needed to find out exactly what was causing my foot and ankle pain and neuropathy. His office manager Angie was great at making sure these appointments were scheduled quickly. They helped me get another opinion quickly too so I could consider whether to have surgery. Dr Huott has a great team that cares about helping their patients.

Providence and East Providence
I have used both the Providence and East Providence location. The office staff is wonderful to work with especially Angie. They have a wealth of knowledge and are willing to take the time to explain the process. I know they have my healing process and future health in all of their recommendations and treatment plans. I have recommended them to others who are looking for foot and ankle help.

Dr Dos Remedios saw me for broken toes. He has the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced anywhere. He is attentive to your concerns. Right away I felt he was genuine, very easy to talk to. He is very professional and thorough. My toe has since healed and fine. He took care of a minor nail…
I am an MD…
I am a MD, I know a lot about a lot, but nothing about feet. Dr. Dos Remedios was thorough/warm/is very smart/trustworthy and explained everything to me He has treated some of my MD colleagues (hard to please as patients) and they have agreed – he is great. I now refer patients to him and they have had very good outcomes from treatment and surgery.
