Dr. Huott graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1994. He completed a Two-year Brown University Affiliated Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence. Dr. Huott was a solo practitioner before joining University Foot and Ankle Center in 2018.
Dr. Huott is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Huott has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a positive rapport with patients and their families. He is proficient at conservative and surgical treatment of all concerns of the foot, ankle and lower leg; from skin, to muscles and tendons, to joints, ligaments and bone. Dr. Huott takes pride in paying full attention to details and establishing a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to each patient. He is also noted for being a meticulous surgeon. Dr. Huott specializes in Sports Medicine, Bunion Surgery, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Diabetic Foot Care, Ingrown Toenails, Flat Feet, Fractures, Laser Treatment, Neuropathy, Orthotics, Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spurs, Sprains and other Injuries, Tendonitis and Achilles Tendonitis, Warts and Wound Care.
Dr. Huott stays current on Continuing Medical Education, the latest trends and techniques, while never neglecting or forgetting proven and established treatments and surgical procedures.
In his free time, Dr. Huott enjoys mountain biking, kite surfing and hiking.
